In ancient time, Information was send with the help of voice. This time human were communicating with sounds and physical gesture. Then symbol was invented and people were using symbol instead of voice or physical gesture.

Symbol invention was the initial invention of information evolution. After the invention of symbol, people were used this at least 4000 years.
The invention of Punch card:
At 19th century, A city named Lyon ,Paris, was designing clothes. But it took long time to design a cloth. This problem was solved with the help of the man named Joseph Marie Jacquard (1752-1834).

Joseph Marie Jacquard was invented the machine named Punch Card. Punch Card was designed faster than man tools.
How punch Card works?
As the card is inserted, the punch card reader starts on the top-left side of the card, reading vertically from top to bottom. After the card reader has read a column, it moves to the next column. As the reader read the information, it would be written to a computers memory.

Where Punch card was used first time?
At 1928, IBM was the first used the Punch card. IBM store information as a memory card. IBM was used 3 machine to accomplish its work.

The 3 machine working procedure:
First Machine: Type which information is needed to be stored.
Second Machine: Divide the Punch Card according to the categories like age of customer, demand etc.
Third Machine: Print the information of the input.
